We had an absolutely stellar kick off this past weekend to Battle. Saturday had all of our teams squaring off across the net in volleyball which has set up an excellent Final Four. We also had rookie team Springfield City Schools edging out Special Olympics Friends & Family to win the Recreational tournament.
Starting at 6pm tonight, LexisNexis and Sogeti will be vying for the finals and on the other side of the bracket we find University of Dayton taking on Reynolds & Reynolds (Safety). If you saw any of these teams play Saturday you already know that tonight should be guaranteed fun!
The weather could not have been more perfect Sunday morning as our Battle mini golfers took over Indian Trails. Reynolds & Reynolds (Safety) brought the skill as they shot a combined 172 for an overall 1st place. We also saw rookie team AAA coming in at number 12 which was most impressive!
Nothing says Battle more than our Sunday night relay events; Swimming and Inner Tube. Reynolds & Reynolds (Safety) added another overall 1st place in swimming with a quick time of 1:20:94 and then turned around and also placed 1st in Inner Tube. In fact, all three Reynolds teams landed in the top 4. Has Reynolds been practicing in the offseason?
After that weekend performance it should be no surprise that Reynolds & Reynolds (Safety) is first overall after those three events closely followed by University of Dayton and LexisNexis. Thanks again for everyone that came out this weekend which includes teams, spectators and volunteers. We will see you tonight for volleyball finals and Tuesday night for Tug and Team Ski!
